Empowering Reproductive Health in Winston-Salem
Born from a Wake Forest School of Medicine Capstone Project, Know Better, Care Better is dedicated to bridging the gap in reproductive health education.
My mission is to provide education, resources, and support around sexual and reproductive health.
Reproductive Autonomy
I believe every individual deserves the freedom and knowledge to make informed decisions about their own body and reproductive future.
Preventive Care
Emphasizing proactive health measures, from routine screenings to contraceptive access, to ensure long-term wellness for our community.
Community Responsibility
By creating a collective environment where education and support are shared values, we can foster a healthier and more responsible community on and off the Wake Forest School of Medicine campus.
About Me
Hi! My name is Nikayla, and I am a graduate student in the Wake Forest Biomedical Science program with a background in Biology and Psychology. I created this website as part of my capstone project to provide accessible, reliable information about reproductive healthcare.
I am passionate about reproductive health and sexual wellness, and I am committed to increasing awareness around topics that are often misunderstood or stigmatized. My ultimate goal is to create a space where individuals can find clear, evidence-based resources to better understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health.
As an aspiring physician, I am especially interested in advocating for equitable access to care and supporting underserved communities. Through this project, I hope to contribute to a more informed and empowered community by making reproductive health information easier to navigate and understand.
